Taking part in the European Solidarity Corps comes with more than just an unforgettable experience, you also receive a free European Youth Card.
This benefit is made possible through the collaboration between the European Youth Card Association and the European Commission. Thanks to this partnership, participants gain access to thousands of discounts and opportunities across Europe.
The European Youth Card offers practical advantages in areas such as travel, accommodation, culture, education, and leisure. It supports young people during their solidarity activity and continues to provide benefits after their project ends, connecting them to a wider European youth community.
Quick facts for ESC participants:
The European Youth Card for ESC participants is issued automatically and free of charge by the European Commission once your project starts.
It is valid for 18 months from the moment you receive it.The card is digital and accessible through the myEYC mobile app (Android & iOS).
If you haven’t received your card, check that your host organisation has fully registered you in the Beneficiary Module platform.

Each year, EYCA, organises the European Solidarity Corps Participation Awards. The Awards give you the opportunity to showcase your solidarity journey and highlight the impact you have made.
By sharing your story, you can inspire other young people to take part and contribute to their communities.If you hold a European Youth Card through your ESC participation, you are eligible to apply. Selected participants can receive a wide range of prizes, from train tickets and exclusive merchandise to training opportunities and travel experiences.

About the European Solidarity Corps
The European Solidarity Corps offers young people aged 18-30 (and up to 35 for humanitarian aid volunteering) the opportunity to engage in meaningful solidarity activities.
You can participate in volunteering, solidarity projects, traineeships, jobs, or humanitarian aid activities. At the same time, you build valuable skills, gain international experience, and strengthen your confidence and intercultural understanding.
With a strong focus on inclusion, sustainability, digital engagement, and active citizenship, the programme supports you in making a difference, while shaping your own personal and professional path.
