National Museum of Contemporary History 50% off entrance ticket to National Museum of Contemporary History. The 20th Century is one of the most exciting centuries for Slovenian history. It this time we have traded a few states and different forms of government, survived two world wars and got our very own independent state. It the National Museum of Contemporary History we greet you with our permanent exhibition Slovenians in XX. century and with other exhibitions with photographs and items from our rich heritage. Opening hours: 10:00 - 18:00 except Mondays and State holidays ( with the exception of February 8th). You can reach the Museum by foot, by car, by city bike and by city bus ( 1, 3, 5, 7, 8, 25). The Museum is located 1,5 km from the main train and bus station.
